At the early age of 9 Camilly always knew he wanted to be in the music industry performing as an artist. In April of 2006, Cameron White a.k.a. (The Real Camilly) discussed his passion for music with Christopher Pollock a.k.a (CP), a well-respected businessman who also had dreams of being in the music industry.
Shortly after their first meeting and a mutual admiration for the rap game, CP and Camilly formed Burnin Witta Passion Entertainment. The Burnin Witta Passion name is derived from “The fire within to achieve your goals by any means necessary.” They believed this name reflected the desire they both felt inside to succeed in such a hostile environment known as the music industry.
Camilly is not only the first artist and only artist signed to BWP, he is also the co-owner of the label. Furthermore, he sees the game from a different perspective than most artists singed to major labels. Camilly makes music from the heart but at the same time understands that this is a business. Therefore, he strives to balance his music for the audience and the overall longevity of his record label, keeping his heart in the streets and his eyes on current music trends. In such short time, Camilly has received great praises not only from his fans, but accolades from music industry insiders as well.
CP self made business man and University of Central Florida Alumni handles all of the financial decision making and coordinates all operational decisions with Camilly to ensure permanence and success in the music industry.
At the present time Burnin Witta Passion Entertainment is based out of Jacksonville, Florida. As stated earlier, currently there are no other artists signed to the label. There is a commitment to succeed first before pursuing other artist. Not only is this a wise decision for the development and success of the label, but also for the current development of Camilly as a growing artist right now.
Although Burnin Witta Passion Entertainment is a small independent label, we continue to provide product that is just as competitive on a major level. The bottom line is we let our music speak for itself.
